As a Charlotte native, Beverlee brings deep-rooted connections and an authentic understanding of the community she serves. She spent nine years in public service, where she held a senior leadership role overseeing integrated communications efforts and breaking down internal silos to deliver cohesive, high-impact campaigns. In that capacity, she led high-profile initiatives, managed large-scale events, and advanced policy-driven efforts that improved quality of life for residents. Her work reflects a strong ability to align stakeholders, execute with precision, and deliver outcomes that matter.
Beverlee is a graduate of the inaugural Next Level Leadership program, where she served as vice president of her cohort. This experience further strengthened her commitment to civic leadership and community advancement.
She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Strategic Communications with a minor in Marketing from Hampton University.
