Prior to joining NP Strategy, she built a strong foundation in healthcare and political communications, earning a reputation for developing innovative media strategies that boost brand visibility. One of Maya’s most memorable career moments was traveling to Utah for a feature with the Today Show—a powerful story about a lifesaving transplant on a remote ranch.
Maya is a dedicated community advocate, serving on the board of Walt’s Waltz, a mental health nonprofit in Upstate South Carolina. She is also a proud member of the 2024 Class of Elevate Lifestyle’s 30 Under 30 Future Leaders of Charlotte and is constantly seeking ways to make a positive impact in her community.
A Greenville, SC native, Maya graduated from Wofford College with degrees in psychology and philosophy. She now resides in Charlotte, NC, where she enjoys exploring her creative side through reading, cooking, and DIY home projects. In her downtime, you can often find her relaxing with her Siberian Husky, Zoey.
