Evan Barbare is a creative professional at heart, with deep roots in the foundations of business. After graduating from the University of South Carolina with a masters degree in accounting, Evan began his career as a Certified Public Accountant. He spent the majority of his time in accounting working with financial institutions and in commercial real estate. Much of his job revolved around translating complicated financial terms into digestible content.

When his oldest daughter was born, Evan purchased a camera to capture better memories of his family. Over time, his passion for videography continued to grow until finally, he stepped into professional filmmaking. This transition was both a move of passion and a move of confidence in the future of video.

Prior to joining NP Strategy, Evan gained experience as a freelancer in developing high traction content for social media, producing podcasts, developing ad creative, and creating compelling video content.

Evan was originally born in Greenville, but has called Columbia his home since graduating from college. On the weekends, you can find him spending time with his wife and two girls, boating on Lake Murray, cheering on the Gamecocks, or pursuing his hobbies of golf and woodworking.
